In record time, Danish company Børresen has made a name for themselves as a skilful manufacturer of high-end loudspeakers. Many of them cost more than a car and have contributed greatly to Børresen’s success.
However, if you’re not prepared to give up your car to buy a pair of speakers, there are Børresen speakers like this one.
The Børresen X2 will go on sale this November and will be the smallest model in the X-series.
The speakers are available in black or white, and the technology is taken from Børresen’s larger X3 and X6, but scaled down to a more compact floorstanding speaker. Here you get Børresen’s ribbon tweeter and two 114 mm drivers with a braided carbon fibre cone. One is a pure woofer, while the other also provides midrange.
The X2 weighs a whopping 36.4 kg, but is quite compact with a height of 110 cm, a depth of 55 cm and a width of 30 cm.
Raidho X2t is small in size alone. The slim floorstanding speakers sound like nothing else, and now they are finally easier to position!
Børresen states that the sensitivity is 88 dB, the nominal resistance is 4 ohms and they should have a frequency range of 40 to 50,000 Hz.
The price is listed at 8,000 euros per pair and, as mentioned, should be available this November.
