Semi- and fully automatic turntables are more convenient than fully manual ones. But what if the player can also be controlled remotely from the couch?
This one can. Dual’s new turntable can be controlled with an app on your mobile phone, and we do mean controlled as if your mobile phone was a remote control.
You can start and stop playback, change the speed and make it repeat up to 10 times.
In the app, you can select a pair of Bluetooth headphones or wireless speakers with Bluetooth and stream music wirelessly. But the belt-driven turntablecan also be connected to a system. All the necessary connections can be found on the back.
There is also a switch to connect or disconnect the built-in phono stage, depending on whether you have a phono input in your system.
The classic-looking turntable is available in vanilla walnut veneer or black ash and comes with an Ortofon 2M Red MM pickup.
