Ecovacs launches new flagship duo

Ecovacs has been selling household robots since 2006 and claims to be the world’s leading manufacturer of such robots and the second largest in the rapidly growing Nordic market.

They are now launching the Deebot T30 Omni and Deebot T30 Pro Omni, both of which feature a new anti-tangle brush to prevent hair getting stuck, adaptive edge cleaning and rinsing with tempered hot water and a self-cleaning station.

The company says its TruEdge Adaptive Edge Cleaning technology sets these products apart from other robotic vacuums, which often miss hard-to-clean areas such as corners and the surface around table legs.

They are both equipped with a new high-speed motor that is claimed to have a vacuuming capacity of 11,000 Pa, and the mops automatically lift 9 mm when the robot vacuum detects a carpet.

The new T30 models are the first from Ecovacs to feature Active Moisture Mopping, which means the mop is continuously moistened with water for best results.

The premium Deebot T30 Pro Omni also has sensors that detect the level of dirt on the mop during cleaning. Depending on how dirty the mop gets, it determines how the floor should be mopped.

Another new feature is that the robot vacuums can be started by tapping them with your foot. They can be controlled via the Ecovacs app and are also compatible with Apple Watch.

Price and availability

Ecovac’s Deebot T30 Omni is available in black for €899, while the Deebot T30 Pro Omni is available in pink and silver for €999.
