Make in-ears wireless with the iFi Audio GO pod

Portable headphones of the smallest kind, called In-Ear Monitors (IEMs), are convenient, but they require a cable. ifi Audio is changing that with their portable headphone amplifiers, GO pod (note the plural, because you need two for stereo).

The GO pod is a pair of amplifiers that you plug into your in-ears and easily place behind the ears.
The procedure is simple: Remove the cable from your IEMs and connect the device to the left and right channels of the GO pod.

According to ifi Audio, the GO pod is the first device to support 96kHz/24bit with LDAC Qualcomm Snapdragon audio (aptX
Adaptive) Bluetooth codec as TWS (True Wireless Stereo). There is also a built-in microphone for hands-free phone, video calls and gaming.

Wireless charging

The GO pod comes in a charging case with a built-in 1500 mAh battery. A pair of GO pods can play up to 7 hours on a single charge. With the case’s in-built battery, up to 35 hours of use can be achieved. The case supports both Qi wireless charging and USB-C fast charging.

GO pod can be used with most wired plugs and in-ear monitors. They come with MMCX and 2-pin IEM connector. Connection to Pentaconn T2 and A2DC connectors can be ordered separately.

The IFi Audio GO pod costs €399.
