The two brands together form the McIntosh Group (formerly Fine Sounds Group), and they now have a new owner. Namely the international investment firm Highlander Partners. This is according to a press release from Highlander Partners, who describes themselves as a firm focused on acquiring companies and gaining majority control with the aim of creating value.

We have developed our investment strategy around consumer-focused brands and luxury goods over several years. The opportunity to acquire brands as strong as those of McIntosh Group does not come along often, and we are very excited to be a part of the company’s next chapter,” said Jeff L. Hull, Highlander Partners’ President and CEO.

McIntosh Group directors Jeff Poggi and Charles Randall comment: “We are excited to continue our growth trajectory with the Highlander team. We see an abundance of opportunity across brands and product categories, and believe Highlander’s financial approach can help us capitalize on those opportunities.
