Beoremote Halo controls sound with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi

Beoremote Halo is no ordinary remote control. You connect it to the wireless home network, and control your Bang & Olufsen speakers with it.

The remote control is like much else from B&O, made of aluminum, and has a display that shows the selected sound source, playlist, and it has buttons to navigate with.

It connects wirelessly with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and switches seamlessly between them depending on where it is located and what it should control. As B&O says, you can take a portable B&O speaker out into the garden, and then it automatically switches to Bluetooth if the network is out of range, and back when you bring the speaker in.

The remote control gives the user access to radio stations on TuneIn, and you can store your favorite stations, or switch to Spotify or Deezer, and everything is shown on the display.

It can be hung on the wall and picked down when you need to take it to another room, and the remote control, which costs NOK 7,750, is also available in brass-colored aluminum.
